Mr Haqqani has served as Pakistan's ambassador to the United States from 2008-2011 and has been an adviser to three civilian prime ministers, including Nawaz Sharif and the late Benazir Bhutto. He has previously authored books like Reimagining Pakistan and India vs Pakistan that detail the two countries relations and tell the story of how Pakistan’s politics has changed over the years. He will be in conversation with Sushant Singh, Indian Express’s Deputy Editor.
